Kate Moss Weds in Custom Wedding Dress by Galliano

Kate Moss is no stranger to controversy. So when she married rocker Jamie Hince on July 1st, 2011 in a wedding dress designed by John Galliano, her controversial choice wasn’t a total surprise.

Galliano, former Christian Dior visionary and Moss’ longtime friend, recently came under fire for making anti-Semitic remarks (and is currently on trial in Paris). But that didn’t stop him from attending Kate’s Cotswolds I Do‘s to see her walk down the aisle in a custom Galliano gown.

Kate’s vintage-inspired wedding dress featured a simple v-neckline and sultry bias-cut silhouette. Metallic gold beading sparkled atop luscious cream chiffon, and nature-inspired gold applique graced the bottom of the gorgeous Galliano gown. Sheer straps crafted from illusion fabric added another on-trend, eye-catching detail and Kate’s loose wedding hairstyle paired perfectly with her bohemian chic bridal gown!
