Sherri Shepherd reveals wedding details

Sherri Shepherd just had a gorgeous engagement ring placed on her finger, but the woman isn’t wasting any time with her wedding planning. In fact, the actress and View co-host, who is due to exchange vows with fiancé Lamar Sally in the near future, already decided who is giving her away on her all-important day – her 6-year-old son, Jeffrey. 
“I want [Sally] to know that when my son walks me down the aisle, you’re not only getting me, but you’re getting this little boy,” she told the news outlet. “He’s going to give me away because it’s symbolic that he’s giving me away for this man to protect me and protect him.”Sherri and Lamar got engaged last month after being set up by a mutual friend. The funnylady was married once before to comedian Jeff Tarpley for eight years.Nevertheless, it looks as though the woman’s hubby-to-be is already giving her son some serious respect – Shepherd told the news source last month that he sought the permission of Jeffrey before popping the question. He’s a keeper!
