Fresh, fun and flirty! That’s how I would describe Erin and Alexander’s Lake Tahoe wedding. At the reception, unique details like their San Francisco Giants themed cake and monogrammed corn hole game created a festive atmosphere for guests to let loose and celebrate. But my favorite elements of this lakeside wedding are the charming bridesmaids’ dresses (different than any I’ve seen) and Erin’s gorgeous gown. A dramatic necklace and lovely veil were the perfect compliments to her Rosa Clara dress. Truly beautiful!

As fans of swimming pools, cats and Slim Aarons this photograph really ticked all our boxes! When we first started designing our silk kaftan collection for Tallulah & Hope we were so inspired by Slim Aarons coffee table books filled with beautiful images of the rich and fabulous holidaying around the world. We set out to design beautiful kaftans that todays modern woman would want to wear on holiday and the pages of sun drenched amazing locations that Silm Aarons is so famous for were certainly put us in the mood for designing chic beach cover-ups and luxury beach wear.

It’s royal wedding week, but stars in Hollywood are still getting engaged! Two blond bombshells received engagement rings this week.
Kate Hudson has a thing for rockers, and boyfriend (and soon-to-be baby daddy) Matt Bellamy, lead singer of the British rock band Muse, definitely fits the bill. Bellamy popped the question last week, but Hudson didn’t reveal the news until appearing on the Today Show with Matt Lauer. The engagement ring is a serious rock, with nearly 9 carats of sparkly diamonds. Hudson’s emerald-cut center stone is set in platinum and features tapered baguettes on the side.

What is the main thing most brides stress over and expend time, exercise, diet and money on? Thats right: the gown. Why do we go to all of that effort? We want to be the most beautiful bride ever. Resplendent. Elegant. Glorious. Uniquely you.
The wedding guests will first ooh and ahh, glancing admiringly at the gown at least thats what each of us hope. But inevitably they will look up to what the stark whiteness and splendor of the dress points to: the radiant beauty of the brides face.
