Id like to think that the folks who created the classic film Father of the Bride took inspiration from an outdoor wedding like Brittany and Adams. Right down to the white picket fence that surrounded their front yard ceremony with the towns oldest and largest historic house as their altar and backdrop.
Those of you who are wedding planners and event stylists, or who have already been married, will know the huge amount of effort that goes on behind-the-scenes in order to style a wedding reception, but many of you wont be aware of the huge amount of energy that is requried to turn a blank canvass reception room into a floral filled wonderland.
Filmed over two days, these two videos from The Dreamcatchers catpure what happened when the team from By Appointment Only Design had to transport 10,000 flowers from the shop on Chiltern Street to luxyry London Wedding Venue, the Langham Hotel to transform the hotel in to a wedding wonderland for a couple who were due to marry there.
I thought youd enjoy a look-in to all the work that is involved – as well of course as take some inspiration from the exquisite floral displays.
