Ralph Lauren’s Daughter’s Wedding Dress

Dylan Lauren is one very lucky bride. The daughter to legendary designer Ralph Lauren got married last month and there was no question that her dress would be an instant classic.

Now, she models the dress in the latest issue of Vogue, reports the Daily Mail. Lauren, a confectionery entrepreneur married Paul Arrouet, a hedge fund manager, last month at her family’s Bedford Estate in a handmade gown of duchesse satin, silk tulle, and georgette embroidery, with a tiered train.

And even though he’s quite familiar with making dresses, Dad Lauren, 71, told Oprah that making the dress was an “emotional” experience. He reportedly even consulted Vera Wang throughout the process.

“I had to do something that was better than ever before. When you do something for your family or your daughter, I mean it’s the only daughter I have — beautiful girl,” said Ralph Lauren. “I want to just give her something that she’d really treasure and give her something that would be really amazing. I want her to feel fantastic.”

And of course, dad and designer didn’t disappoint. “I told my fiance, ‘I may sleep in it. I might wear it the next day,’” said Lauren. “It’s really beautiful. I know that every bit of his energy and heart went into making sure that I liked it.”
